A Lightweight Encryption Scheme for Resource-Constrained IoT Devices

Abstract
We propose a lightweight symmetric encryption scheme tailored for resource-constrained IoT devices. The scheme reduces computational overhead by 38% compared to standard AES-128 while maintaining equivalent security guarantees, validated through formal security analysis and hardware benchmarking on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
